The most complete publication on Danie de Jager to date. The contents include an overview of his life and a photo section of all his works with the background to and history of the work.

In his career he completed more than one hundred and twenty larger than life bronze sculptures. Having worked with realistic and abstract themes, he ranks amongst the most experienced sculptors in the world. Among the most important of these works are:

*Four monuments commemorating the Anglo Boer War, Bloemfontein

*Large sculptures for cities all over South Africa, America and the Middle East

*Many large bronzes for private collectors

*Sculptures of political figures
